Kenmore small business Saturday gearing up for sales

Black Friday is often touted as a celebration of corporate earning, and despite the low prices, many in recent years have begun looking closer to home for holiday gifts.

The City of Kenmore hopes to encourage it’s local businesses on Nov. 23, commonly known as ‘Small Business Saturday.’

“We’re trying to do everything we can to make sure that small businesses feel welcome here in Kenmore,” said Kenmore Mayor David Baker. “The more you support your business in the city, the more you’re going to have.”

At least four small businesses will be offering deals, including Micro Homebrew, Snapdoodle Tops, Kenmore Air Gift Shop and Ostroms Drug and Gift.

Kenmore hosts more than 800 businesses, many of which are local.
