SR 527 reopens after fallen tree cleared | UPDATE

UPDATE: The Bothell Police Department has stated on its official Twitter account that the tree has been removed and State Route 527 is now open.

State Route 527 is closed in both directions between NE 190th Street and 242nd Street SE as a tree is falling into the powerlines and sparking, according to a post on Twitter by the Bothell Police Department.

A Puget Sound Energy crew is on its way to the scene, and the PSE website reports 1,181 customers are without power in Bothell, including Bothell City Hall. A total of 12,332 PSE customers are experiencing outages as of 11:18 a.m. Oct. 14.
