Anything can happen in the playoffs.

The Bothell High girls soccer team won a thriller to advance in the KingCo tournament on Monday, beating Eastlake 3-2 in penalty kicks at Eastlake High School in Sammamish.

The Wolves took a lead late in the first half, but Bothell’s Antonia Miranda equalized in the 53rd minute on a penalty kick.

Next, Bothell is scheduled to play Woodinville at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 3 at Pop Keeney Stadium. The winner moves on to play either Skyline or Issaquah for a spot in the state tournament.

Woodinville beat Inglemoor, 4-0, on Monday. It was the final match for Inglemoor seniors Saya Brown, Samantha Bell, Karley Bentler and Catherine Quintana.
