On Saturday, 222nd Street SE will be closed between 23rd Drive SE and 20th Avenue SE. The contractor for the North Creek Interceptor construction will be completing waterline work.

The work is expected to take one day but could continue on Sunday as needed.

People can get around the work area either by looping to the south along 20th Avenue SE and 224th Street SE, or by bypassing the area using 220th Street SE and either 23rd Drive SE or 26th Avenue/29th Drive SE.

The current street closure on 23rd Drive SE just south of 223rd Street SE will be open during this weekend work.
