All Bothell and Kenmore area schools closed Monday

The Northshore School District is closed today, Monday, Feb. 6 due to inclement weather. The Puget Sound area picked up a couple of inches of snow over night, with most surrounding districts closing their doors for the day, including the Lake Washington, Bellevue, Issaquah, Shoreline and Snohomish School Districts.

District officials also reminded parents and students that “There will be no after-school/evening activities, athletics or band/orchestra.”

The Cascadia College and University of Washington Bothell campus is also closed today.

Local private schools that have canceled classes today include Cedar Park Christian School, Northshore Christian Academy and Woodinville Montessori School in Bothell, among others.

A winter storm warning from the national weather service in effect until 4 p.m. today.
