The City of Bothell has announced the schedule for the 2017 Fourth of July Freedom Festival, which has a theme of “United We Stand” this year.

The festivities will start with a pancake breakfast from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the downtown firehouse, 10726 Beardslee Blvd. The children’s parade starts at 11:15 a.m. on Beardslee Boulevard near the post office, and the grand parade starts at noon at the intersection of Main Street and 104th Avenue NE.

Due to construction on Main Street, the parade will take a slightly different route this year, proceeding west from the intersection of Main Street and 104th Avenue NE on NE 183rd Street to Bothell Way NE. The route then veers north (right) and ends at the Pop Keeney Field parking lot.

For more information or to fill out a parade application, find the event on the city’s website, bothellwa.gov. Applications are due on or before June 16.
