Heritage Christian Academy in Bothell recently celebrated some extra special super heroes on Super Hero Day.

The school had firefighter Adam Lamb, veteran Jonathan Ness and police officer Jeremy Pinkerton stand at the main door of the school greeting students as they arrived.

In response, the students created and delivered notes of thanks and appreciation.

In addition, HCA honored staff members Eileen Stratton and Anne Wachtveitl, who are currently battling breast cancer, as well as staff members Carol Chambers and Beckie Smith, who have overcome breast cancer. HCA staff dressed in pink to show their support.
