Bothell High equestrian Kaitlin Dierks and basketball player Jake Medjo have notched scholarships to play at the University of Georgia and University of California Riverside, respectively. They signed their national letters of intent on Nov. 8. Dierks is Bothell’s first equestrian to receive such a scholarship. The NCAA Division I Georgia program is currently ranked No. 1 in the country. Medjo’s Highlanders play in the NCAA Division I Big West Conference. He was a 4A KingCo first-team selection last year.
