Northshore Schools Foundation hosts Movie and Music Night

Northshore Schools Foundation is proud to announce the inaugural All Community Movie and Music Night to be held starting at 6 p.m. June 2 at Pop Keeney Field in Bothell.
“We wanted to create a district wide family friendly event to say thank you to our community for being ‘All In for Kids’ throughout this school year,” said Northshore Schools Foundation executive director Carmin Dalziel in a press release.
The first of its kind in the area the event will feature live music from local musicians, family games like Jenga, Connect Four, Cornhole and Trivia. Food trucks and concessions will offer a variety of food choices for families to enjoy.
This event is free thanks to the Presenting sponsorships of The Landing Townhomes, The Pop and Junction; the Educate level sponsorships of Inspirus Credit Union, Ontra Marketing Group and Chick-fil-A Canyon Park; the Learning Level Sponsorship of Woodinville Weekly andReboot the World and the Community Level Sponsorship of World Venture, Snapdoodle Toys, Zulu’s Board Game Cafem Bothell Pediatric Dentistry, Bob’s Heating and Cooling and Clements Orthodontics.
Families are invited to bring blankets and field safe lawn chairs for siting on the field on a first come first served basis. Seating will also be available in the bleachers.. As this event is happening on school district property, all district stadium protocols will be honored including no food or drink allowed on the field and no alcohol or smoking allowed on premises.
Doors open to the public at 6 p.m., live music begins at 7 p.m. by local Musician Brian James and several other local artists. Students from Lockwood Elementary will also be performing with ukuleles purchased from grant funds provided by the Northshore Schools Foundation.
Food trucks will include: Tuk Tuk Mobile Feast, Mini…The Dough-nut, Main St. Gyros, Seoul Bowl Co. and Chick-fil-A.
