Around 100 people gathered for the annual Fine Art Show festivities at the Northshore Senior Center (NSC) on May 3 and 4.

The annual show, presented by the artists of the NSC in Bothell, displayed pieces including pieces in watercolor, color pencil, oil and acrylic, mixed media, acrylic, ceramics and driftwood. There was also woodcarvings. Some artist were also on hand to demonstrate their work. In addition, the annual show included the senior center’s homemade pie sale, jewelry sale and plant sale. Attendees also participated in a silent auction. All proceeds from the action supports the art programs offered by NSC.

Winners of the annual show included Margaret Trudeau as best of show. Sandy Mathewson received a people’s choice ribbon for her driftwood sculpture. Jean White received a people’s choice award for her oil/acrylic painting. Kathleen Flynn received a people’s choice award for acrylic pour piece and Donella Robbins received a people’s choice ribbon for her colored pencil/drawing.
