Bothell firefighter and Mercer Island community member Kirk Robinson was honored with a funeral procession shortly before his memorial service on Oct. 24. Robinson died earlier this month following a two-year-long battle with cancer.

The procession comprised a motorcade that traveled from Bothell’s Pop Keeney Stadium to Redmond’s Overlake Christian Church, where Robinson’s funeral was held. According to a Bothell Fire Department press release, about 50 police department vehicles and 29 fire department apparatuses encompassed the motorcade.
