The Bothell High School Future Business Leaders of America students participated in the State Business Leadership Conference on April 15-17 in Spokane.

The following are the individual and team awards the Cougars earned:

Accounting I — Matthew Watson, fifth place

Accounting II — Matthew Watson, first place and Katie Seidel, fifth place

Banking and Financial Systems — Team of Hemanth Kalathil, Brian Moon and Tanmay Sapre, fourth place

Business Financial Plan — Team of Cindy Grady, Katie Seidel and Ryan Vail, fourth place

Computer Applications — Alex Ehlers, fifth place

Database Design and Applications — Aditya Jain, third place

Desktop Publishing — Team of Kaitlin Fernandez and Sydney Smith, third place

Future Business Leader — Alex Ehlers, fifth place

Global Business — Team of Tyler Cartwright, Sydney Kramer and Kennedy Nikel, fourth place

Insurance and Risk Management — Sam Oh, third place

Social Media Campaign — Team of Makenzie Ley and Srishti Mathur, third place
