Local author, Linda Scarlett, is having a book signing in the Safeway Shopping Center by Country Village June 7.

The event is from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 24118 Bothell-Everett Hwy. There will be a free drawing and coloring contest for kids.

Scarlett wrote, “Grief Connections for the Grieving Heart” and dedicated to Oso and donated proceeds to Oso. She also wrote, “Adventures of Steve & Sharee” and “Life’s lessons taught through Mouse Friends.”
