Bright Horizons in Bothell will be collecting new, unwrapped toys, games and crafts through Dec. 16 on behalf of a former student, Brandon.

Brandon was a 4 year old and a student at Bothell Bright Horizons when he was diagnosed with brain cancer. After so many days in a hospital, his family expected Brandon to become angry and frustrated. Brandon showed his family and community how to bravely take on life’s adversities. Brandon organized many different fundraisers to help find a cure. Before his last Christmas in 2009, Brandon organized a toy drive delivering over 400 toys to Seattle Children’s Hospital.

Brandon’s goal was to beat his cancer and help other kids do the same. Bright Horizons honors Brandon’s memory by making his goal its own.

Bright Horizons in Bothell will continue this tradition of sponsoring a Giving Tree and will donate all of the toys collected to Seattle Children’s Hospital in honor of Brandon’s Goal Foundation.
