On Saturday, Aug. 8, the Bothell Library is hosting WSU forestry professor, Kevin Zobrist, to speak about Native Trees in Western Washington.

The event, which starts at 2 p.m., will allow participants to learn more about the native trees around the area, along with rarer specimens of the region.

Zobrist is the author of the book, Native Trees of Washington, and has spent four years searching for and photographing the 32 native trees for the title.
