Aegis of Bothell in conjunction with the Veterans Assistant Association is hosting a free educational seminar to offer assistance about the process of applying for the Aid & Attendance (A & A) Special Pension Benefit. The seminar will be held from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 1 (Freedom Day) at 10605 N.E. 185th St., Bothell.

The A & A may be available for veterans and/or surviving spouses, who are at least 65 years old, to assist with the cost of long-term care. It is a no-service connected disability benefit, meaning the disability does not have to be a result of service.
