The Northshore Wranglers-To-Camp Program received a $7,500 grant from the Tulalip Tribes Charitable Fund to support Wranglers attending Camp Killoqua in August. The weeklong overnight resident camp offers Wranglers an inclusive opportunity to boat, swim, hike, bike, do arts and crafts, cookouts, play sports and games, and much more with other school-age campers of all abilities. The grant will support scholarships for Wranglers, as well as additional staff support. Camp Killoqua is located in Stanwood and operated by Camp Fire USA.
The Northshore Wranglers Special Recreation and Community Inclusion Program offers year-round, weekly and ongoing programs for individuals of all ages with special needs, their family and caregivers. The Northshore Wranglers is a nonprofit program of the Northshore Senior Center. For more details on the Wranglers visit its Web site at www.northshorewranglers.org.
