A bird apparently destroyed a utility pole east of Bothell earlier this year.

The pole was nearly sawed in half. The Snohomish County Public Utility District posted a picture on Friday that grew popular on social media.

The location of the incident was near 45th Avenue SE and 240th Place SE, close to the county line. A worker shared the photo with the PUD on July 21, officials said.

The damage was reported by a customer in January. The pole was replaced at that time.
