UW professor emeritus and historian Quintard Taylor will be giving a talk entitled Seeking Freedom in the Pacific Northwest: The Early History of Blacks in Seattle and King County as part of McMenamins’ Pub Night Talk series from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27.

The talk will be held at the Anderson School’s Hayne’s Hall. Doors open at 6 p.m.

Taylor’s talk will be followed by a Q&A session. All ages are welcome, and the event is free.
