Northshore School District employee Lydia Sellie receives State Business Officials Award

The Northshore School District director of finance Lydia Sellie was presented with the Washington Association of School Business Officials (WASBO) “Unsung Hero” award at its annual conference, May 1–3, in Vancouver, Wash.
The award annually recognizes a WASBO member who has volunteered their time and energy to help in WASBO’s mission of promoting best practices of school business management, providing professional growth and effectively using educational resources.
Sellie has chaired the WASBO Leadership Development Committee, served on the WASBO Legislative Committee, presented at numerous workshops, planned and
organized the annual Business Officials Summer Institute and provided analysis and data to WASBO in evaluating legislative proposals.
WASBO is a professional association of 950 Washington state school district finance and operations employees.
