Evergreen Academy student wins Artsonia.com Artist of the Week award

Artsonia.com recently selected Chelsey Hodkin, a third-grade student at Evergreen Academy in Bothell, as its Artist of the Week. From more than a dozen final entries for the contest, Hodkin’s Cool Cat drawing garnered more than 800 votes on the site. A plaque and a Blick Arts Gift Certificate for $50 were awarded to Hodkin by her art teacher Jeanine Lipp (both pictured). Additionally, The Evergreen Academy art department was awarded a Blick Arts Gift Certificate for $100 to be used for materials in the school’s art room.
