Woodinville student wins physics award

Woodinville High School junior Connor Hughes won the first place physics award at the Central Sound Regional Science & Engineering Fair at Bellevue College.

Woodinville High School junior Connor Hughes won the first place physics award at the Central Sound Regional Science & Engineering Fair at Bellevue College.

Connor’s project examined how hydrodynamic drag differed on objects with different surface textures. His project also received a Naval Science Award and the Yale Science Award for “Most Outstanding Exhibit in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics and Chemistry”.
