The Cascadia Community College/University of Washington, Bothell campus received top honors in the National Wildlife Federation’s Chill Out: Campus Solutions to Global Warming competition. The campus won the category of Habitat Restoration for the campus’ 58-acre urban-wetlands restoration project.

The Kenmore City Council voted April 7 to rescind a previous motion that authorized taxpayer-funded health insurance for its members. Coverage for councilmembers who enrolled in the program will end May 31.

Inglemoor High came back to salvage one of three baseball games last week after cracking the top-10 rankings in the state on Monday. The state rankings, which are compiled by www.washingtonbasbeballpoll.com, had Inglemoor ranked No. 10 out of the Class 4A teams in the state.
