Construction is rolling along on future Safeway shopping center in Canyon Park

Property Development Centers (PDC) crews are currently at work on approximately 13 acres in the Canyon Park area of Bothell, where a 150,000-square-foot shopping center will be anchored by a new Safeway supermarket. The new center will be located at the southwest corner of 240th Street and Bothell Everett Highway.

Property Development Centers (PDC) crews are currently at work on approximately 13 acres in the Canyon Park area of Bothell, where a 150,000-square-foot shopping center will be anchored by a new Safeway supermarket. The new center will be located at the southwest corner of 240th Street and Bothell Everett Highway.

Construction is estimated to be completed in September 2011. The new center will be called Lakeside Plaza at Canyon Park.

“Safeway has been a member of our business community for decades. Their major new shopping center investment is one of several private investments coming now to  Bothell, and demonstrates their confidence that Bothell is positioned to lead economic recovery in our region,” said Terrie Battuello, Bothell’s assistant city manager/economic development director.
