Country Inn & Suites By Carlson will be celebrating 20 years in the Bothell community.

On May 21, 1989, the hotel opened its doors as a Ramada. One year later, the hotel became part of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts as a Wyndham Garden Hotel. The hotel spent most of its years as a Wyndham Garden until becoming part of Carlson Hotels Worldwide and the Country Inns & Suites By Carlson in April of 2005.

The hotel recognizes Diana Steig, a staff member in its housekeeping department who walked in the doors on opening day and still works there today.
