She will serve a one-year term as president and will be responsible for overseeing the continued success of her predecessor Johnna Beall. McCarthy has been active in the Seattle Metro Chapter and has been a Realtor for close to 20 years.

“I am honored to have been chosen to serve by my peers and am looking forward to continuing to grow this great organization,” said McCarthy.

McCarthy is not new to running organizations. She owns Real Living Northwest Realtors and is a past president of the Northshore Rotary and serves on numerous boards in her spare time.

The Seattle Metro chapter has been focusing on helping women become leaders and to giving back to the community.
