UW-Bothell’s bachelor of arts business program in Bellevue is still accepting applications

The University of Washington, Bothell now offers a bachelor of arts (BA) in business degree at the Eastside Leadership Center (ELC) in Bellevue (located off the 148th Street Northeast exit of State Route 520, near Microsoft).

The BA in business offers students a University of Washington degree at a central Bellevue location, with convenient courses offered Monday and Wednesday evenings. The coursework is designed to help students build skills in leadership, management, teamwork and effective oral and written communication.

The program utilizes a peer cohort model with small class sizes resulting in enhanced professional relationships and connections and increased interactions between students and faculty.

Three unique concentrations are offered:

• Entrepreneurship: This concentration provides students with an understanding of the development of growth-oriented, new venture start-ups, whether external or internal to the organization.

• Finance: This concentration offers advanced knowledge and skills in the critical areas of corporate finance, investment management and management of financial institutions.

• International business: This concentration focuses on the major challenges and issues facing businesses and managers operating in an increasingly globalized environment.
