As another Northshore School Board election looms, I’ve been trying to figure out how best to help my friends decide which candidate to support. In District 3, there are three candidates running in the primary: Berta Phillips, David Cogan and Isaac Parsons.
Bothell has the privilege of becoming home to the swelling population of our region.
Regarding Schwend’s endorsement of John Lee for city council, checking a recent list of registered voters in the city turned up exactly zero ‘Schwend’s.’
I would like to highly recommend endorsing Mr. John Lee for the position on the Bothell City Council.
John Lee would make a great addition to the governing body in Bothell.
We are excited to see John Lee running for Bothell City Council.
I endorse John Lee as Bothell city councilman. He is of highest character and enjoys virtues that ensure great and right decisions in stewarding the city of Bothell.
As much as I would like to, I can’t take responsibility for this commentary. But, it is very timely and well said. Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld makes the point… and whether we like it or not, he is telling the truth.
I was extremely disappointed in the focus of the article about the three candidates for Bothell City Council, position 4.

There is one word to describe how the development of Bothell is being handled – carelessly.
I have lived in Bothell for 27 years. My husband and I moved here for three reasons: first, Bothell was near Redmond where we worked, and we could even commute to work by biking on the Sammamish Valley Trail; second, we happened to find a house we liked and could afford as we started out to raise our family; and third, we loved the area.
I have no quarrel with those who use their Constitutional rights to object to Shell Oil drilling for petroleum. That they are wrong in their concern has been adequately documented by responsible scientists is another issue.
