Deanna Isaacs’s article of April 27 (Bothell City Council, staff violated law by discussing Wayne purchase in executive session) raises more questions than it answers.

Why didn’t the city attorney know that they were violating the Open Public Meetings Act? Where was the city manager? How many other issues were discussed in executive session in violation of the law, especially those dealing with development?

It may be time for state Attorney General Bob Ferguson to step in with a truly impartial investigation. The citizens of Bothell deserve a full accounting of what the city officials are doing on their behalf – or not.
