Ride a bike, walk

The recent heatwave was the hugest one I’d been in. I’ve spent summers in the midwest, where it’s very humid, and the temperature is nothing compared to this. It was so hot in my house that I couldn’t even sleep in my own bedroom. Even with air conditioning and a fan, it was still way too hot. Warm weather is nice, but when it gets too hot over a period of time, it starts taking its toll. I’ve had enough heat, and I’m dying for a temperature drop.

This is a result of global warming. We all need to take responsibility for reducing our carbon footprint. I’m helping by riding my bike and walking to get to local destinations. How about you?
