Vote for Bob Swain for NSD board Pos. 2 | Letter

I am writing to encourage everyone to consider voting for Bob Swain for Pos. 2 on the Northshore School District board. I am supporting Mr. Swain because he is a longtime resident and business owner in the community, he is a dedicated volunteer, and his three children attended Northshore schools. I have also been impressed with his integrity and how quickly he has come to understand the challenges in our district. He appreciates our history of excellence in education and seeks to preserve it.

Mr. Swain’s past professional experience in the Washington State Senate and over the last 17 years as a business owner and broker in commercial real estate will give us the expertise that we need to help us properly plan for future school construction to help us keep up with our ballooning population growth. His experience includes working in both the public and private sector on large budgets, strategic planning, investment analysis and strategic consulting. These are skills we need on the board as our district continues to grow.

Overcrowded schools and classrooms are a real threat to the quality of education we can provide in the Northshore today. I believe he is the candidate we need to make sure that NSD continues to be an excellent place for our kids.

Please join me in voting for Bob Swain for Pos. 2 of the Northshore school board.

Patsy Treece,

Bothell
