A fossil whale bone, a 19th century grinding stone and an alibi: These are among the dozens of surprising and curious objects found by faculty, staff, students and friends of Cascadia Community College and assembled for an exhibit called the Lost and Found Art Show.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Oct. 1-12 at the Mobius Art Gallery on the college’s campus at 18345 Campus Way N.E. in Bothell.
“This is a way of creating community through an art show,” said Jared Leising, one of the Cascadia faculty members responsible for curating the show. “A lot of people participated by sharing objects and their stories of finding them. The items themselves offer us glimpses — whether strange, heartbreaking, or hilarious – into other people’s lives.”
Paid parking for the event is available in the north-campus garage.
