Kiwanis hosts ‘Spaghetti Bowl’ dinner again

The Kiwanis Club of NorthShore offers its annual spaghetti dinner, 4:30-7:30 p.m. in the Anderson School cafeteria, in the school next to Pop Kenney Field.

The dinner will be held just prior to the Bothell vs. Inglemoor football game.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $6 for students and senior citizens. Family tickets are $25. Tickets are available at Ostroms Drug and Gift or at the door. Proceeds benefit local Kiwanis Charities.

Pups available at Barktoberfest

Hundreds of purebred and mixed breed dogs and puppies will be available for adoption at the BarkTober Fest adoption event, noon to 3 p.m. on Oct. 19 at the Academy of Canine Behavior (4705 240th St. SE, Bothell).

All dogs are up-to-date on shots and either spayed or neutered and come with a money-back guarantee should they turn turn out to be a bad fit.

Adoption fees range from $150 to $250.

A pre-adoption seminar is planned from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Canine Behavior Center (7551 205th Ave. NE, Redmond). Call 206-465-4116 to register.
