Finalists will come together for five days in February in New York City to learn from conductor Dr. Eph Ehly, work with other finalists and get a taste of New York City. Other conductors are Dr. Charles Peltz and Jeffrey Grogan.

She studies vocals with Lisa Ponten and piano with Michelle Maas; is a member of Bothell High’s Madrigals Choir; and will play Dorothy in the school’s upcoming spring musical, “The Wiz.” She is also the junior captain of the Mighty Imps, an improv team, and was selected for All Northwest Honors Choir 2011, which includes four surrounding states.
