Local bands are ready to rock

Friday, Aug. 26 - End of Summer Bash at the Old Redmond Firehouse will feature local bands Third Attempt, Shotty, Fringe Shift and SKAM from 6:30-10 p.m. Entrance is $7 per person at the door. Address: 16510 N.E. 79th St., www.theoldfirehouse.org. Friday, Sept. 2 - Local teen rock band Jar of Rain plays on the main stage of the Evergreen State Fair in Monroe. General fair gate prices for adults 16 to 61 years of age is $10, senior citizens 62 to 69 and youths 6 to 15 is $7. See the fair Web site (www.evergreenfair.org) for discounts and special day pricing.
