Billed as a recreation of the last live concert by the Swedish disco superstars, ABBA Mania will appear on stage at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 24 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center, 18125 92nd Ave. N.E., Bothell.

ABBA Mania features nine musicians and singers performing 21 of ABBA’s greatest hits including “Dancing Queen,” “Mamma Mia,” “Voulez Vous,” “Waterloo,” “Fernando,” “Take A Chance On Me,” “Super Trouper” and “The Winner Takes It All.” Costume changes, choreography, a live band and back-up singers all are listed as part of the show.

Winners of the 1974 Eurovision Song Contest, ABBA dominated the charts for nearly 10 years. They became Sweden’s highest export earners, even outselling Volvo cars. It has now been 31 years since ABBA last toured. In 1979, London’s Royal Albert Hall received two million ticket requests for 5,000 available seats at two ABBA shows.

In the early ‘80s ABBA disbanded and the members went their own ways, but the success of their album “ABBA Gold” continued.

ABBA Mania ticket prices are $40 for adults, $35 for senior citizens and $15 for youths under age 17. Tickets are available online or by calling (425) 408-7988.
