MOD Pizza raises money for the Northshore Schools Foundation

MOD Pizza is teaming up with the Northshore Schools Foundation to launch its annual Spreading MODness campaign in Bothell. The MOD Squad will be donating $1 for every pizza sold to Northshore Schools Foundation Nov. 22-27.

“I can’t believe another year has gone by, we are excited to be Spreading MODness again this year,” said Joe Jonart, Northshore Schools Foundation Board Member and Community Activist. “We are always looking to partner with socially conscious companies that are looking to make a difference in our communities and with our kids in Northshore. It’s great that we can find companies like MOD in our community that have goals that line up with our vision to enrich and enhance the lives of our students in the School District.”

Northshore Schools Foundation joins more than 175 non-profits across the U.S. that will be the beneficiaries of Spreading MODness 2016 – a week at MOD which is focused on supporting at-risk youth and families across the U.S. and the United Kingdom.

“Our birthday is always a special week – it is a time when we spotlight the idea that ‘simply doing the right thing’ – taking care of one another and our communities – can have a lasting impact,” said co-founder of MOD Pizza Ally Svenson. “Moments of generosity and gratitude happen daily in our stores, and we want to pay that forward to our communities. We are proud to call these inspiring charities our partners and to help draw attention to the important work they do every day.”

This year marks the fourth year of “Spreading MODness”, and through its celebration of “Gratitude with Attitude”, each of MOD’s 182 stores will be supporting their local charity, with a goal to donate over $250,000 in 18 states and the UK.
