Northshore Senior Center to host self-compassion class

Looking for tips to better take care of yourself? Northshore Senior Center is hosting a free self-compassion class.

Do you treat yourself as well as you treat your friends and family? Self-compassion is not being selfish, it is learning and practicing ways to take care of yourself which then sustains kindness and compassion for others. Research has shown that individuals who have more self-compassion are happier, more optimistic, less anxious and less depressed.

In this session, participants will learn new tools and strategies for promoting self-compassion. The class takes place from 10-11:30 a.m. Feb. 7 at the center in Bothell. To register, call 425-286-1035 or email janetz@mynorthshore.org.
