Inglemoor High School Performing Arts will present “Legally Blonde, the Musical,” lyrics and music by Laurence O’Keefe and Nell Benjamin, in May.
“A Grand Night for Singing,” Bothell High’s spring musical this year, promises to be just that. A combination of songs and medleys from some of Broadway’s most loved musicals, the show will run at 7:30 p.m. on April 6, 7, 13 and 14 with 2 p.m. matinees on April 7 and 14 at the Northshore Preforming Arts Center (NPAC).
Bothell High boys will battle it out in a talent competition at the annual Mr. Bothell contest from 7:30-9 p.m. March 1 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center (18125 92nd Ave. N.E., Bothell).

The Seattle Art Museum (SAM) is hosting a new exhibit at the downtown location, “Gauguin and Polynesia: An Elusive Paradise.” From now through Apr. 29, visitors and art lovers alike can experience the art of French artist Paul Gauguin.
The Capitol Steps will bring their political, musical satire to the Northshore Performing Arts Center (18125 92nd Ave. N.E., Bothell) at 8 p.m. March 9.
Multi-award-winning family gospel group The Hoppers, who have been singing to global audiences for more than 55 years, will perform at 7 p.m. Feb. 17 at Cedar Park Church, 16300 112th Ave. N.E., Bothell. Tickets are $16 advance, $20 at the door and $30 for Artist Circle seats.
The Northshore Performing Arts Center has rescheduled the “Late Nite Catechism 3 – Til’ Death Do Us Part” show to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 11. The original Jan. 21 performance was canceled due to weather conditions.

The Inglemoor High Valhalla Players will be performing “Anastasia,” a comedy in three acts, at 7 p.m. Jan. 20-21 and Jan. 26-28 in the Si Siverson Little Theater on campus.
Two indie pop acts, Normandie Wilson from San Diego, Calif., and The Golden Hour from Lincoln, Neb., will be going on a two-week tour of the Pacific Northwest in late January, which includes a stop at the Lyons’ Den in Bothell on Jan. 28.
The Willamette University Chamber Choir and Willamette Singers, under the direction of Wallace Long, will perform at 7 p.m. Jan. 11 at Bothell United Methodist Church, 18515 92nd Ave. N.E.
Diana DeAndrea-Kohn’s writing was ready for a breakout.
For a long time, the Bothell resident kept her stories inside, not even showing them to her husband. But about 1½ years ago, she set a goal: to get one of her pieces published and share it with the world.
Bothell High actors will be presenting “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” by William Shakespeare in January. The play is one of Shakespeare’s most popular works for the stage and follows four Athenian lovers and some lacking actors as they run away, only to be manipulated by the fairies who inhabit the forest in which most of the play is set.

Inglemoor High’s choirs will present “Sounds of the Holidays” at 7 p.m. Dec. 8 at the Bastyr University Chapel (14500 Juanita Drive, Kenmore). The concert is free, but a $5 per person donation is suggested.
Bothell High’s choral groups and instrumental ensembles will present their fifth annual “Messiah” holiday concerts at 7 p.m. Dec. 7-8 at the Northshore Performing Arts Center (18125 92nd Ave. N.E., Bothell).
The Northlake Christian Church drama team will perform Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “Touch of the Child” at 7 p.m. Dec. 2, 3, 9 and 10 at 19029 North Road, Bothell.
