PopUp StoryWalk, a local literacy effort aimed at getting kids excited to spend time outdoors, has been making its way through the Eastside after being started by a group of moms in Kenmore.
The group just secured its next book — “The Water Princess” by Susan Verde — which will debut on the trails of Brightwater Education Center in Woodinville. It will be launched at 10 a.m. with the Brightwater-sponsored event Water World Day on March 23. The installation will remain on the trail for three weeks.
