Townsend to speak on turning forests into biofuel at Northshore Senior Center

This event is set for Feb. 28 and is free and open to all.

New technology can harvest renewable energy from forests, farms, water, sun and wind.

Many communities in the state have pledged to do just that and residents will all benefit from the results.

At 10:15 a.m. on Feb. 28, Patricia Townsend will explain how this system works at the Northshore Senior Center, 10201 E. Riverside Drive in Bothell. The talk will take place in room 203. Townsend is a regional extension specialist at Washington State University.

This event is free and everyone is welcome.
