All ages are welcome to participate in the ’50s Sock Hop! going on this Saturday, April 25, at Kenmore City Hall.

Tickets for the event cost $20 per person or $30 for a couple or per family. Live music, dancing, pictures, refreshments, prizes and more, will be offered at the event.

While poodle skirts and Fonzie jackets are optional, a love of 1950’s music is not. Come listen to Purple Sky perform well known songs from the 50s and 60s.

The event is a fundraiser for Ayelin Children, a non profit organization helping orphaned children in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia.

The funds raised at the event will go towards supplying basic needs to children, including baby formula, clothing and school supplies.
