Two people have sustained life-threatening injuries after being stabbed at the Kenmore Town Market at 7000 NE 181st St., the afternoon of Feb. 24.
A 52-year-old clerk was stabbed by a 15 year-old-suspect. The suspect was also stabbed.
Ryan Abbott of the King County Sheriff’s Office said Monday afternoon it could have been “some type of robbery,” but that he was unsure since it was still early on in the investigation.
For now, officials believe the parties involved ended up stabbing each other, although that is subject to change depending on what the investigation relays.
Medics transported both individuals to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Reports of the severity of their injuries came in at 4:31 p.m. Monday, according to the King County Sheriff’s Twitter page.
