70-year-old cyclist injured after colliding with cement truck in Kenmore

A 70-year-old Kenmore man was seriously injured after his bicycle collided with a cement truck along the Burke-Gilman Trail in Kenmore on Wednesday morning.

A 70-year-old Kenmore man was seriously injured after his bicycle collided with a cement truck along the Burke-Gilman Trail in Kenmore on Wednesday morning.

King County Sheriff deputies were called to scene where the trail intersects with 65th Avenue Northeast and Northeast 75th Street near the CalPortland cement plant. The man’s name and the nature of his injuries have not been released.

The bicyclist was transported to Harborview Medical Center and deputies are still investigating the incident. The street and trail were closed for a while during the investigation.
