June 2

A sexual offense was committed near Northeast 160th Street. This is currently an ongoing and active investigation.

A person living along E. Riverside Drive died of natural causes.

A fraud incident was reported, near Hollyhills Drive Northeast. A victim reported fraudulent accounts setup up with charges totaling $3,000.

A hit and run occurred near 98th Avenue Northeast when a driver, backing out of a parking stall, is hit by a car traveling through the parking lot. The backing driver left the scene without exchanging information.

A victim living near Northeast 162nd Place reported identity theft after receiving phone calls from a person claiming the victim was the winner of a substantial sum of money. The caller said that they needed to pay a fee to claim the winnings. The person paid. When another caller claimed to be the IRS looking for the tax money from the alleged winnings, the victim paid that as well. The victim is out around $50,000.

Various pharmaceuticals were shoplifted from a grocery store along Bothell-Everett Highway (Highway 527).

A person near Northeast Bothell Way reported receiving harassing phone calls from a known person. The call was for documentation only.

A victim reported the theft of a laptop, during working hours, from their workstation at a business along Northeast 120th Avenue.

A restaurant along Southeast 17th Avenue notified authorities that it had accepted counterfeit bills as payment for services rendered.

June 3

A residential burglary was reported near 235th Place Southeast at a foreclosed and vacant property. Approximately $1,800 in miscellaneous appliances and items were stolen from the home.

A residential burglary was reported near 19th Avenue Southeast. An unknown subject forced open the garage door and appears to have slept there overnight. No property was reported as stolen.

A person reported a theft from a grocery store along Highway 527.

A house fire was reported along Northeast 111th Avenue involving resident Diane Nottingham-Johnson.

June 4

An attempted residential burglary was reported near 106th Avenue Northeast when a resident found that tools had been removed from their original location in the garage. Luckily the items were found and the burglary was thwarted.

A death investigation is currently active and ongoing near Northeast Juanita-Woodinville Way. No information is available at this time.

June 5

A theft along 111th Place Northeast was reported. A suspect went into a construction site, sometime between close of business on Thursday and opening on Friday, and stole an excavator worth $20,000.

A domestic violence assault was reported along 233rd Street Southeast when an argument between a son and a mother became physical. The son punched the mother in the face causing the victim to suffer swelling and bruising to the cheek. The son was arrested for assault/domestic violence.

A motor vehicle was reported stolen from a company’s business location near S. Northcreek Parkway. The vehicle had been locked and there were no signs of forced entry onto company property.

A person reported a theft near 214th Street Southeast.

A victim reported fraudulent checks as payment for items sold on Craigslist.

June 6

A victim reported a wallet was stolen from inside their purse, which had been in a shopping basket of a store along Northeast 120th Street, when the victim had turned away for only a moment.

A domestic occurred, along the 12500 block of NE 198th St., after a man kicked down a door and began hitting his family. The incident, which began around 9 a.m., started after the man did not get the cigarettes he’d asked for from his sister. His family offered a place to shower, but the man became increasingly agitated about a cigarette. He was told to leave the premises, but then kicked in the front door. After hiding her daughter in the bathroom, the sister called 911 but was interrupted by the man who threw her to the ground and punched her. When the mother attempted to stop the assault, she was beaten, too. When police arrived they arrested the suspect and transported him to Bothell PD for booking.

A person reported a subject trespassing at the victim’s home, located along Northeast 158th Street, after the subject showing up unwanted.

June 7

A person reported a residential burglary near 16th Drive Southeast after they found their garage had been entered by unknown means and a motorcycle license plate stolen off a bike.

June 8

A victim reported the theft of a motor vehicle near Northeast 190th Street. The victim’s vehicle was locked when it was taken from their residence.

A person reported the theft of approximately $1,500 worth of work equipment from their vehicle, which was parked near the 121st Place Northeast.

A victim reported the theft of medications from their mailbox near Northeast 201st Street. The loss is valued at approximately $72.

A vehicle was impounded by a private party near 126th Avenue Northeast. There is no other information at this time.

Around 9 p.m. an assault occurred at the McDonalds on 22210 17th Ave. SE. According to witness statements, a group of two women and one man pulled into the parking lot at McDonalds. Witnesses saw the man slap and punch both females from inside the car, though they couldn’t hear what the man was saying. The male, and at least one female, got out of the car and the male continued to assault her in the chest and neck area. She got back in the car and the vehicle began to drive off. The male attempted to stop them from leaving by trying to break a window and, when that failed, he jumped onto the trunk. The car sped off, with the male still on the trunk, and the witnesses lost sight of the car as it went around the corner. Witnesses who ran after the car found the male on the ground covered in blood, but still conscious. The victims, one of which was the man’s girlfriend, called in after they returned home and told police about the incident.
