Beam to lead human resources at UW Bothell

Beth Beam has been selected as the new assistant vice chancellor for organizational effectiveness and human resources management at the University of Washington Bothell.

Beth Beam has been selected as the new assistant vice chancellor for organizational effectiveness and human resources management at the University of Washington Bothell. In this newly created position, Beam will provide strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of human resources programs. The position will also provide leadership, transparency and coordination of improvement efforts in academic and administrative units.

Beam currently has her own consulting business. She brings a high level of experience in human resources management and organizational effectiveness which includes development of a strategic business plan for a large medical cooperative, coaching for a higher education leadership program, and implementation of an electronic performance management system for a large corporation.

Beam has a master’s degree in social work from the State University of New York and is a licensed clinical social worker. She will begin her new position on Feb. 9.
