A dark beer and chili competition will be held from noon to 7 p.m. Jan. 18 at 192 Brewing Company.

More than 12 brewers are participating in the event. The confirmed brewers are 7 Seas Brewing, Foggy Noggin Brewing, Big Al Brewing, Airways Brewing, Diamond Knot Brewing, Brickyard Brewing, North Sound Brewing, Rainy Daze Brewing, Island Hoppin’ Brewery, Odin Brewing, NW Peaks Brewing and 192 Brewing.

Each attendee will get to cast their vote for the favorite chili and favorite beer. At 6:30 p.m., the votes will be counted and the winner for each category will receive a trophy on stage.

After the awards ceremony the live band will begin, and will perform for three hours. All ages are welcome to attend and dogs are also invited inside. Attendees must be at least 21 years old to sample beers and valid i is required.

Entry is free and tasting tickets are $2.
