Tomorrow is “Bike to Work Day,” and King County Parks will be on the Burke-Gilman Trail in Kenmore during the morning commute to thank all of those riders who are doing their part to reduce traffic congestion and cut tailpipe emissions.
Stop by the King County Parks tent from 6–9 a.m. Friday at Log Boom Park to fuel up with free KIND bars, to pick up the latest maps and regional trail construction updates, and to enter a drawing for a free pair of tickets to a show at this summer’s Marymoor Park Concert Series.
With 175 miles of trails linking neighborhoods, communities and cities throughout the county, King County Parks’ regional trails system offers a great alternative to the usual old commute.
