BOTHELL

Sept. 27

Shoplifting

A man was arrested, charged with third degree theft, after allegedly attempting to leave an unidentified business with approximately $20 in tobacco products. The reported theft occurred in the 1400 block of 228th Street.

Theft from vehicle

Unknown thieves removed the catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the 22000 block of 20th Avenue. Reports didn’t say if the car was parked in a lot or on the street. Total damage and replacement costs were given as $1,500.

Motor vehicle recovery

Police recovered a 1994 Honda Accord in the 21600 block of Sixth Avenue. The car had been reported stolen from Kenmore. Reports did not give any information about the condition of the car or any suspects.

Sept. 24

Theft from vehicle

Thieves broke out a passenger window to gain access to a car parked in the lot of a business in the 21000 block of State Route 527. Items subsequently stolen include a backpack, iPod, calculator and some school books. Total value: $500.

Commercial burglary

A computer monitor, a laptop computer, a digital camera and briefcase were among the items stolen when someone broke into an unidentified construction company in the 10000 block of Riverside Drive. Police said the suspects broke into an exterior vent to gain access to the business.

Sept. 23

Motor vehicle theft

A 1991 Honda Civic was stolen from the lot of a residential complex in the 1400 block of 93rd Boulevard. Valued at $1,200, the car later was recovered by Everett police. The vehicle apparently was not damaged. Reports did not mention any suspects.

KENMORE

Oct. 2

Vandalism

For whatever reason, someone tore a number of landscape plants out of the ground and threw them up against the side of the building and the windows of Tully’s Coffee on Northeast Bothell Way. Police said there was no monetary loss as the plants were put back in place and the building cleaned.

Sept. 30

Theft from vehicle

A GPS, value not given in reports, was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 15400 block of 64th Avenue Northeast. Officials said the car had been left unlocked.

Residential burglary

The suspect somehow forced open the front door of an apartment in a complex sitting in the 18800 block of 68th Avenue Northeast. Police reports say items were stolen from the residence, but don’t offer any further details.

Sept. 29

Possession of marijuana

A school resource officer at Kenmore Junior High intervened when a student allegedly was found with an unspecified amount of marijuana at the school. The student also was carrying a set of brass knuckles, which he told police he had for protection. Reports were not clear whether or not charges were filed against the student.

Sept. 28

Assault

A Kenmore man was booked into King County Jail on a charge of fourth degree assault after allegedly pushing his live-in girlfriend. The incident took place in the 7000 block of Northeast 181st Street.

Sept. 26

Theft

An unknown suspect left the St. Vincent DePaul store on Northeast Bothell Way with unspecified clothing allegedly stuffed into a backpack. Reports were unclear as to whether or not the suspect was arrested.

Assault

Reports contained few details but said a man pointed a shotgun at his girlfriend, threatening to kill her. The incident allegedly took place in the 18700 block of Kenlake Place Northeast.

Sept. 25

Burglary

Again the details released are few, but someone broke into Bethel Evangelical Church on 55th Avenue Northeast. Police reports said the suspects used a window to enter the church and that unspecified items are missing.
