The Bothell High Alumni Association has contributed $7,300 to the Northshore Scholarship Foundation.

In 1994, the Bothell High Alumni Association was formed as a nonprofit organization. In the by-laws, it adopted the following goals:

1. Promote and preserve the history of Bothell High.

2. Promote activities that strengthen bonds between alumni.

3. Promote quality public education through educational scholarships.

Additionally, the organization provides membership benefits and other activities: producing two newsletters each year to include community and alumni events; updating and maintaining an all-alumni directory; helping class representatives have successful class reunions by providing them with class lists and lists of resources such as places to have a reunion, caterers, photographers and other helpful information; providing scholarships to graduating Bothell High students every year through donations and membership dues.

The All-Alumni Picnic will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 21 at Blyth Park in Bothell. Bring a picnic lunch and folding chairs. This year, they are having a car show — bring your 1980 or older vehicle for a chance to win the Best of Show trophy. In addition, there is a 5-K Alumni Fun Run — preregister at ultracarin@gmail.com.
